Profile
The Denver Squid – Aquatics Club welcomes you to our annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival – Water Polo Tournament. The RMOF is a scramble-style tournament with the mission of social competition, having fun, and meeting new people. Denver Squid’s mission is to host a fun tournament to connect water polo players from across North America and to introduce local players to the water polo sport.
For Water Polo, players register individually, and information about their self-reported skill level will be used to create teams that are as evenly matched as possible. We will endeavor to place you with at least one member of the team that you belong to or with an individual that you identify if you indicate this on the registration form. The beauty of a scramble tournament is playing with new people from other places–we hope you enjoy the experience! Once placed on a team assigned: no trading to other teams!!
Each water polo player will play a total of 5 games (3 on Saturday Sept 14th, 2 on Sunday Sept 15th)
The championship game ends around 3:00pm on Sunday, please plan flights out of Denver around 7pm on Sunday or the following day.
How to register
This registration is only for those playing water polo. You will be required to register separately on USAWP (using Sport:80/usawaterpolo.org). This OpenSports registration will cost you, while the USAWP registration will be free.
You can use the USAWP signup link here, or search USAWP for a Camp named “Denver Rocky Mountain Oyster Fest (RMOF 2024)” – note it is registered on USAWP as a Camp, not a tournament.
