The 14th annual USA Hockey Sled Classic, Presented by the NHL, will November 7-10, 2024, at the Children’s Health StarCenter in Farmers Branch, Texas. The Dallas Stars will play host to the event. More information, including event registration, can be found below.
First staged in 2010, the USA Hockey Sled Classic is an annual round-robin tournament between NHL-affiliated sled hockey teams. Participating teams in the tournament must have an official affiliation with an NHL member club and represent their affiliated NHL club by wearing official NHL licensed jerseys with local club marks and logos.
The inaugural Sled Classic featured four teams and 46 players. The 2023 event was hosted by the Tampa Bay Lightning at AdventHealth Ice Center in Tampa, FL. The event featured 34 teams (with certain NHL clubs fielding multiple squads) and 310 players.
How to register
The 2024 USA Hockey Sled Hockey Classic, Presented by the NHL, is scheduled to take place from November 7 to 10, 2024, in Farmers Branch, TX. The highest skill level is tier 1, followed by descending tiers 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Please sign up for the tier that matches your competition level. We reserve the right to move teams from one division to another if they are not appropriately registered.
Registrations will close when we reach the total capacity or by September 26, 2024, whichever comes first. Teams may be placed as alternates if divisions are filled. You will be notified if you are an alternate team. Alternate teams are not guaranteed a place in the event.
Official USA Hockey Rosters with 24SledC after the team name must be submitted by September 26, 2024, as are team logos uploaded into Event Connect. Roster changes or player additions will not be allowed after 10 days before the event start date.
Note: If any team requires a pusher, they must provide one, as USA Hockey will not provide any pushers for this event.
