Wisconsin Women’s Rugby welcomes any interested women to join our team.

No experience is necessary, just a positive attitude! We’ll teach you everything you want to know about rugby – one of the United States’ fastest-growing women’s sports, as well as the newest Olympic sport!

The Wisconsin Women’s Rugby Football Club is a Division 2 senior women’s rugby team in Madison, Wisconsin.

Founded in 1975, our team is one of the nation’s oldest women’s rugby teams and plays competitively in the Wisconsin, Midwest and USA Rugby unions. We are a non-profit tax-exempt organization as a member of Madison United Rugby.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary in 2015 by winning our club’s first-ever D2 USA Rugby National Championship. We followed that up in 2016 with a return trip to the National Final, where we finished as National Runner-Up.

Our team is always looking for new members and new opportunities for growth and continued success. We pride ourselves in providing all players with athletic, social and community benefits.
