A strong history of baseball in West Bend can be traced back all the way to before they even played at Carl M. Kuss Memorial Field. A strong history of Little League and high school baseball leads to a strong history of adult amateur baseball. From West Bend Lithia to West Bend Company to West Bend 7 Up, high-level men’s amateur baseball continues to remain strong. Today, West Bend houses two amateur teams: the flagship West Bend Spirits play in the Land O’ Lakes Baseball League, and the Kewaskum A’s play in the Rock River Baseball League and Northeast Wisconsin Baseball League (NEWBL). The WBBA also hosts the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic Baseball Tournament.
