Tampa Athletic Club is West Central Florida’s leader in the sport of Masters rowing! Whether you are new to rowing or have experience, Tampa Athletic Club offers a welcoming and comprehensive program for adult rowers of all skill levels and athletic abilities. Tampa Athletic Club (TAC) was founded in the fall of 2011 by a board of dedicated rowers in Tampa Bay. Our club is a community of volunteer members who are enthusiastic about the sport of rowing. Whether you are a recent college graduate, a seasoned rower, a new Learn To Row graduate, or a competitive rower, we have a seat in one of our boats for you! Our club participates in regattas, from local events to national competitions, like the Head of the Hooch. We offer the people in the Tampa Bay area, regardless of fitness level, the opportunity to experience the camaraderie and health benefits of the sport of rowing. Learn To Row If you’ve seen the boats gliding down the river in downtown, you’ll know how beautiful it looks. Maybe you didn’t know about the health benefits and the social aspect of crew. It’s a way to get to know people and experience a view of downtown Tampa that few people get to see. Once you have taken the Learn to Row Clinic, you can row with Team TAC!
