Reno Battle Born Babes was established in the summer of 2021 by women who love rugby and who want to see the sport grow in Northern Nevada. We are the sister team of the men’s Reno Zephyrs.
Our rugby season runs from February to May against D3 opponents Chico Knotty Oaks, Fresno Golden Dogs, and San Jose Lady Seahawks. We have friendly matches against Berkeley All-Blues, Sacramento Amazons, Life West Gladiarix, and East Palo Razorbacks.

We have amazing support from our rugby community here in the city. If you are looking for a way to stay active and make lifelong friends, this is the team for you. All you need is the willingness to learn an exciting sport. Come see us and you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t know how to play rugby? That’s o.k. because we can teach you everything you will need to know about the game. All you need are cleats, mouth guard, and strong shorts. It’s a low-cost athletic sport.
