Show up at any of our rugby practices. Introduce yourself. We’ll take care of the rest. Whether you have a decade of rugby experience, learned touch rugby overseas, or have never even touched a rugby ball, you are welcome to join our practices. Wear athletic clothing and bring a pair of cleats (soccer or football are fine). We welcome all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. No matter what your level, you will have fun and become a better player. Founded in 2000 by Matthew Walsh, Portland Touch has been one of the most consistent and successful touch teams in the United States, winning nine national championships. Portland Touch prides itself on developing local players, providing opportunities for new and experienced players to grow and develop their skills, and creating an atmosphere where everyone, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, age, or athletic ability, can find a home where they are honored and celebrated.
