Along with Junior Practices, the Academy hosts Adult Volleyball Leagues on Thursday nights. These 8-week 4-on-4 co-ed volleyball leagues are great for corporate teams, groups of friends, or even solo players looking to be placed onto a team. A total of 16 co-ed teams will compete during each season: 14 teams formed by Team Captains and 2 teams formed by Free Agents—solo players that would like to join the League. Matches are played at 7:00 pm, 7:45 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:15 pm. Schedules are sent out one week before the start of the season along with which teams will be matched up. All matches are played 3 games: the first 2 to 21 and the 3rd to 15. Players are not required to rotate positions but must keep the same service order during a game. All players are live, meaning all can attack or block. Players receive t-shirts with their team names, which must be worn while playing. The winning team will receive branded swag and other prizes. Players aren’t allowed to touch the net; we are using the honor system, so call your own nets! No ball-handling infractions will be called. Every team makes the playoffs.
