About the League
The Oahu Pride Volleyball League (formerly Hawaii LGBTQ Volleyball League) was founded in 2022 and was initiated by well-respected LGBTQ community member and Kumu Brad Lum. He played an active role in recruiting other community members to create a board and recruited the assistance of other LGBTQ community leaders, businesses, and individuals to assist with the founding of the organization.

Ho’okahi Wai O Ka Like Aloha – All the Same, Harmonious in Unity and Aloha! This is the organization’s founding motto and is used as a guiding principle as it strives to bring Hawaii’s LGBTQ community together in unity and harmony while creating a safe space for members to network and fellowship while being themselves and without judgment.

The League welcomes ALL people regardless of orientation or how they identify to participate and welcomes players of all levels and skill sets from beginners to advanced.
