The New Orleans Womxn’s Rugby Club is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the country and has fielded a team since 1978. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on inclusivity, building our community, and growing rugby for womxn. We began hosting our celebrated Mardi Gras Tournament in 1980. We are a combination of players, both womxn from the New Orleans area and local university students. We are currently playing as a Division III team in the True South Matrix and are always seeking new players, supporters, and matches.
