Nestled in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains just south of the town of Los Gatos, Los Gatos Rowing Club has been home to rowing in the South Bay since 1979. We offer year-round recreational and competitive rowing programs for adults at Lexington Reservoir. Our location is a pristine oasis within Silicon Valley – glassy, calm waters, stunning scenery, and abundant wildlife… bald eagles, blue herons, coyotes, tree frogs, and even beavers! Motorized watercraft aren’t permitted on the reservoir, so we share the water with just the occasional kayaker, paddle-boarder, or fisherman. Los Gatos Rowing Club is a non-profit public benefit corporation that exists to promote amateur rowing in the Santa Clara Valley. To do this, we provide the settings, facilities, and equipment, offering master programs for adult rowers, outreach programs, and community service. Los Gatos Rowing Club offers rowing options for those new to the sport as well as options for experienced rowers.
