The Kohlfeld Scorpions Rugby Club was founded in 1972. Originally, the team resided on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University and was named the “Southeast Missouri Rugby Club.” Eventually, the team moved off-campus and became a senior men’s club in the Missouri Rugby Union, gained Kohlfeld Distributing as a sponsor, and adopted the current name and mascot. Now, the Scorpions are dedicated to sharpening their skills on the field, being involved in their community, and, of course, having fun! Newcomers of all skill levels are welcome throughout the entire year.
