Multiple Adult Sports Options for Residents
Albuquerque’s Parks and Recreation Department offers sports leagues for adults throughout the year. Here’s what’s happening now:
Men’s basketball leagues run every Tuesday and Thursday evening at community centers citywide. Teams can register up to 12 players.
Co-ed volleyball meets Wednesday nights at the West Mesa Community Center. Beginner and competitive divisions are available.
Adult softball leagues play Sunday afternoons at Los Altos Park. Both slow-pitch and modified pitch options are offered.
Indoor soccer runs year-round at the Cesar Chavez Community Center on Friday nights.
Pickleball drop-in sessions happen daily at various rec centers from 9 a.m. to noon.
All leagues require:
• $50 registration fee per team
• Players must be 18 or older
• Photo ID at check-in
• Signed liability waiver
Register online at www.cabq.gov/parksandrec or visit any community center. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
