The Connecticut Adult Soccer League was formed in 2015 and is affiliated with the Connecticut State Soccer Association. CASL is a non-profit organization dedicated to the Over-40 recreational soccer player. The Connecticut Adult Soccer League currently has two divisions: Division One consisting of 9 teams and Division Two consisting of 10 teams. At the end of the year, the top 2 teams in Division Two win promotion to Division One, and the two bottom-placed teams in Division One will compete the following year in Division Two. Each Division’s end-of-year winner will win $350 prize money to donate to the registered charity of their choice, with each Division’s runner-up earning the right to donate $150 to a registered charity of their choice. This makes the Connecticut Adult Soccer League’s annual charity donation total $1,000.
