What is the Cincinnati LGBTQIA+ Flag Football League?
The CinGFFL is a 7-on-7 flag football league inclusive to all but catering primarily to the LGBTQIA+ community in and around the greater Cincinnati and Tri-State Area. Cincinnati’s Gay Flag Football League’s mission is to provide the LGBTQIA+ community (stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, allies, and all identities) in Greater Cincinnati a safe, positive environment both on and off the field. Moreover, it aims to offer healthy, athletic competitiveness that builds on a sense of community for all participants. Through our fundraising, team outings, travel, and league play, we expect that our players will promote positivity, camaraderie, and build connections with supporters in our community. The fundamental principle of CinGFFL is inclusion, which means all social and athletic activities that are to be conducted will not exclude individuals from participation based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, nationality, ethnic origins, political beliefs, athletic and physical ability, or HIV status.
