Founded in 1973, the Charleston Outlaws Rugby Football Club (RFC) has a long history of success on the competitive field of play as an adult men’s club in the Carolinas region and beyond. The club has regularly competed in the Divisional Championships and advanced to National Playoffs as both a Division II and Division III team. Many players on the club have competed for U.S. Armed Forces Championship sides representing our Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Several Charleston Outlaw team members have competed internationally for USA Rugby South Panthers against Mexico, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Bermuda, Trinidad & Tobago, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Austria. Additionally, others have traveled overseas to play for Premier teams. Players encompass all walks of life, from students to working professionals including career military personnel. No experience is required to play for the team, and the Outlaws welcome anyone who is interested in becoming a part of the rugby community. Required minimum age to play is 18 years old.
