Cambie Sports was born in January 2004 to bring a truly competitive sports organization to British Columbia. Dustin Schmaltz, who has been very involved in the volleyball community in the past and still maintains a firm grasp on what is going on in the industry, started the company. He maintains relationships with many other key organizations, such as Pro Stock Athletic, The City of Richmond, East Richmond Community Association, Cambie Community Center, and VancouverVolleyball.com. Cambie has actively expanded its grasp on locations and special events in the Lower Mainland over the last six months. It has found phenomenal success at the Cambie Community Center and the Canada Day Salmon Festival events.
