The Blossomland Soccer League formed in late 2003 and began play in the summer of 2004 with eight teams and 161 participants. Since that time, we’ve had as many as 17 teams and nearly 400 participants in a season. Since our start, we have fielded a total of 52 teams and nearly 2,000 participants representing almost 70 countries. We have grown to include teams and players from throughout Southwest Michigan, Northern Indiana, and beyond. We are the premier adult soccer league in Southwest Michigan. All players and participants maintain amateur status. Players have ranged in age from their teens to 60+. Our league includes players who have participated at the high school, college, national, and professional levels, as well as weekend warriors. We are associated with the Michigan Soccer Association (MSA), United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the American Adult Soccer Association (AASA). We are a not-for-profit organization licensed in the State of Michigan. Through these associations, we are able to ensure that all games follow the appropriate rules of soccer, and we provide supplemental insurance policies for all registered participants and liability insurance for owners of fields in use each season. Our season begins with our AGM in the winter, and registration opens soon afterward. It runs from spring and ends in late July or early August.
