Badminton for Vancouver’s OUT Community
Absolutely Badminton was started by a group of eleven friends. It opened its doors in 2000 and has been going every year since. We welcome players of all standards to our weekly play nights. Our players range from those who are relatively new to badminton right through to those who have been playing for some time and play at a higher standard. Just pop into our Wednesday play night to say hi and check us out – you can just visit or come prepared to play – it’s up to you! We can even lend you a racquet! We have a total of 6 courts – 2 of which are reserved for the more advanced players. We play mostly doubles. We’re happy for people to play singles, but only when there are no others waiting to play. We play with plastic shuttles/birdies (you’re welcome to bring feather shuttles if you prefer). Just come on down to try us out!
